Handmade from Maple, Zebrano, Sipo Mahogany and Dark Oak - this 32 piece characterful set is a stylised take on "traditional" chess piece designs.

Each piece is lovingly hand-turned on the lathe to create a distinctive profile, with natural grain variations within the wood adding to their unique aesthetic.

The super-sized pawns, inspired by O_wow's 'Droplets', offer an incredibly tactile experience as they glide around the board, while the King, Queen and Bishop all feature contrasting wood tones.

All pieces are treated with a 100% natural, woodwax oil finish to enhance and protect them.

Chess pieces are approximately 1.5" wide at their base, making them perfect for tournament sized chess boards of 2" squares (not supplied).
